HALL OF FAME
Here’s the Never Never Band version of Friends Reunited.  Just send me an email and I’ll add your name.

At present we are:

Philip Tattershall - Lived in Hertfordshire from 1962 to 2005, now enjoying life in Cumbria.  Webmaster.

Eric Wood-Thompson - Horn of Plenty veteran, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

Note from Phil:

Eric and I walked the Hadrian’s Wall path from 15th to 21st July 2006 and listened to Never Never Band recordings for part of the journey.  That’s surely enough of a Never Never connection to justify putting a picture from the expedition on the Gallery page.

Peter Austin - Originally from Oxfordshire, now exiled in the West Midlands

Dave Awcock - Witney, Oxfordshire, a Corndolly regular

Mike Poole - A mate of Dave’s

Roddy Cole - Faringdon, Oxfordshire, another from the Dolly

Steve Cannon - Another mate of Dave’s

Geoff Wise - Hemel Hempstead, supplier of Neil Brewer
Information

Dominic Hutchinson - Headington, saw the original line-up at the Dolly.

Andrew Clarke - Horn of Plenty regular from St Albans, now living in West Glamorgan.

Edward Grainger - Gloucester, saw the band and the spin-offs many times while at Oxford University.

Andy Blair - Warrington, a mate of Edward’s, with a similarly extensive track record.

Ivor Mason - Another Dolly regular and supplier of this great picture.  Now living in Kent.

Neil Megson - Now living near Banbury, a regular at The Board Hotel in Eynsham during the Never Never/Vetos era.  On a few occasions, he took a tape machine to gigs with him.  Oh joy!

Jim Siret - An old mate of Neil Megson’s, who booked the band at least four times to play for Abingdon Park FC at Abingdon Youth Centre.

Ian Poole - Frodsham near Chester,  an ex-Hemel lad who saw the band in St Albans, London and Oxford.

Steve Williams - Brampton, Ontario, Canada.  Another from The Dolly and The Penny Farthing.

Tony Kelly - Oxford.  Yet another Dolly and Penny Farthing veteran.

Simon Forrester - Another Oxford man.  Supplier of photographs and memories.

Simon Poole - Sydney, Australia.  Ian’s brother.

Andy Davis - Telluride, Colorado.  A mate of Simon P’s.

Barrie Moore - Another Oxford veteran who often hitched a lift to Vetos gigs with the boys themselves.

Pete Cripps - A Witney lad now living in Derby.

Terry Hughes - Holywell, North Wales, author of this quite wonderful piece.  Thanks again Terry.

Tim Fox - An ex-Woodstock boy who saw them at The Board and The Dolly many times.

Neil Baldock - An old mate of Terry Hughes from Brize Norton. Neil reports that there was possible sabotage of Shakin’ Stevens’ microphone by a certain bass player at the Hatfield Forum show. Tut tut.

Mike Edwards - A big fan of Painter’s Clouds from the Dolly, who remembers the place being packed to the gunnels, making reaching the bar sometimes just too much trouble.  To counter this, a member of the bar staff would threaten to chuck out those without a pint!

Jonathan De Lance-Holmes -  A student at Oxford in 1980 and a regular at The Dolly.  Now practising law in London.  From City Love to City Lawyer?

Colin Hobbs - A friend of Mike Poole from The Dolly days.

Lindsay Colin Wilson (Colin) - From North East Scotland, lived in Hertfordshire and North London from 1979 to 1989, semi-regular at the Horn of Plenty 1980-81.

‘Snowy’  -  A friend of the Fulford family from Leamington Spa.

Mark Sullivan - another fan who typed ‘Never Never Band’ into a search engine during an idle moment.  Welcome Mark!

Jane York - A former neighbour of Bryan’s in Manscoft Road who saw the band many times at the Horn of Plenty.

Mark Sapsford - An old mate of Bryan’s.

Dave Durrant - Another Horn regular.  Supplier of instrument information.  Dave has a vague recollection of seeing Dane performing in a butcher’s apron.  Anyone else remember this?

Alex Peterson - Lived a short stagger from the Horn.  See Alex’s memories here.

Derek Barclay - Saw the band at Leicester University.  Look here for Derek’s memories.

Rob Swinney - Rob sent me this email quite a long time ago, but, thanks to my normal chaotic lethargy, I neglected to put his memories on the site.  Belated thanks and apologies Rob.

Mike Rowland - A Dolly regular who was there in the audience the very night that Simon Forrester recorded.

Any more of you out there?
