About Me:
I was raised in Upsate NY, worked in many industries from Bearing Grinder, Retail Manager to Computer Technician. Computers went from being an expensive hobby to a career move. I am an avid Linux user but I do love Windows as it keeps me employed. I use OpenSuse, Ubuntu, Android and #!(Crunch Bang).

I love reading, mostly mysteries and spy novels. I love reading the works of  Dashiell Hammett, Raymond Chandler and Mickey Spilane.  "I've been as bad an influence on American literature as anyone I can think of." - Dashiell Hammett

I like tinkering with electronics as my dad got me in to fixing old radios and soldering together electonics projects. That tinkering naturally led to working on and building computers.

I listen to Classic Rock, Classical and Jazz, Trance/Techno, Tech Podcasts and Audio Books.

I watch the classic old Black and White movies and ancient TV shows like The Rockford Files. I do love my Brit Mysteries like Blood In The Wire and Midsomer Murders.
