My Ph.D. dissertation was on the question of what it means for a person to be evil. In other words, what is an evil person? The main purpose behind this was to know how to avoid being evil. The whole dissertation can be read as a PDF file, and you have your choice of three PDFs, each with different formatting. One has been designed for printing on fewer pages than the original version, and two more have been designed for reading in an ereader. One has normal size text, and the other is large print. They were specifically formatted for the Kobo, but they will probably work as well with a Nook, Kindle or other ereader. The page numbering differs between them, but the content remains the same. You may download and/or print it for your own personal reading. Printing it on any commerical basis is prohibited. It is copyrighted to me, and it may be quoted within the limits of fair use. More extensive copying requires my permission.
While working on my dissertation, I wrote a lot that didn't make it into the final work. Here is a selection of some of what wasn't included in the final copy.

"Hell" by Fergus Duniho I made this picture by applying successive special effects with Ultimate Paint. I saved it when I got this, which reminds me of the pictures Hieronymus Bosch drew of hell. I suppose it's really a Rorschach, which may be a blur to some. I see it full of ghostly, enigmatic, and demonic figures. |
